Term

Description

Know Your Customer (KYC)

KYC is the mandatory process of identifying and verifying the client's identity. The intensive examination of account holders in KYC policy is the institutional basis for anti-money laundering to prevent corruption.

Dynamic QR

One code value can only be used for one transaction. For example, the order code displayed on the merchant's terminal screen or printed on the cashier's receipt. After the user scans the code, the user usually does not need to enter the transaction amount to initiate the payment.

Static QR

Product for Paynow, users can scan the static qr generated by the merchant.

Required

Indicate whether the fields in the interface are mandatory: M-Must, O-Optional, C-Condition

CANCEL

A CANCEL request is a merchant-initiated request that instructs the Gateway to cancel a transaction.

Merchant-Presented Mode

C-scan-B Mode, the user scans the merchant presented code with digital devices, such as a mobile phone, to initiate payment.

User-Presented Mode / Customer-Presented Mode

B-scan-C Mode, merchant scans the user presented code with devices to initiate payment.

Order code

Merchant-Presented Mode Payment product. One code value can only be used for one transaction. For example, the order code displayed on the merchant's terminal screen or printed on the cashier's receipt. After the user scans the code, the user usually does not need to enter the transaction amount to initiate the payment.

Payment code

User-Presented Mode Payment product. The merchant uses a code scanning device to scan the payment code and complete the deduction.

Entry code/STAIC_QR

Merchant-Presented Mode Payment product. With the Entry Code/STATIC_QR Payment product, users can scan the entry code/STATIC_QR generated by the merchant and enter the payment amount to complete the payment. Merchants do not need to apply an updated QR code or purchase any equipment for collecting payment if merchants join the UPAS network.

Redirect Type

In-app means the payment processing can redirect users to open the ewallet app or online banking to complete the order.

Checkout Page

The UQPAY checkout page is a pre-built UI component that simplifies the process of integrating UQPAY payment services. It can automatically adapt to the buyer's device: Mobile or Computer, and offers a simple and quick way to integrate all payment methods supported by UQPAY.

Card Not Present (CNP)

A payment transaction is made with a card, where the shopper cannot physically present the card to the merchant at the time of the transaction.

CASHIER_PAYMENT

Payment product. Use this product to get the cashier page address. After getting the cashier page address, you can redirect the user to the cashier page to make a payment or display the online order code for the user to scan.

DYNAMIC_QR

Payment product. Dynamic QR solution allows merchants to generate a unique PayNow QR code for each customer, allowing faster checkout as they do not need to fill in additional details like amount or reference code.

OFFICIAL_ACCOUNT_PAYMENT

Payment product. It refers to the payment capability of the user in opening the merchant's H5 page in the WeChat client and pulling up the WeChat Pay cash register on the H5 page to complete the payment.
The payment capability of official account is a product capability based on the H5 page of the WeChat client, with multiple characteristics such as flexible product capability, multiple application modes, low development cost, and close connection with the WeChat ecosystem. It can be used in both online and offline scenarios.

INAPP_PAYMENT

Payment product. In-App Payment means that the WeChat Pay user selects goods and places orders in the merchant's App, and selects WeChat Pay at the payment stage. Then the WeChat client will be pulled up from the merchant's App, and the system will automatically redirect back to the merchant's App after the user completes the payment in the WeChat client.
In-App Payment is a payment product more inclined to online scenarios, and often used for online retailers, catering takeout, etc.

MINI_PROGRAM_PAYMENT

Payment product. Pay by Mini Program means that merchants provide goods or services for users through WeChat Pay mini programs, and users complete payment through WeChat Pay in the WeChat Pay mini programs.

WEB_PAYMENT

Payment product. It refers to the payment capability that the merchant displays goods or services on the mobile Web page outside the WeChat client. When the user confirms using WeChat Pay on the above page, the merchant initiates H5 payment to call the WeChat client, and the user completes the payment on the WeChat client.
The capability applies to the payment scenario where WeChat Pay needs to be called up when users open the merchant's H5 mall website for shopping in the browser outside the WeChat client (e.g., the QQ browser, Google browser, or Safari).

QR_CODE_PAYMENT

WeChat's Payment product. QR_CODE_PAYMENT is applicable to both online and offline scenarios.

CARD_PAYMENT

Payment product. The payment capabilities of card payment methods. A card can either be a debit card that is issued by a local settlement network or an international card that is issued by a card scheme.

ORDER_CODE

Payment product. To initiate a payment, the merchant generates a QR code with the order information for customers to scan. After scanning the code, the customer can check the order information before completing the payment.

PAYMENT_CODE

Payment product. To initiate a payment, the customer presents a payment code (generated from a payment app like an e-wallet) to the merchant for scanning.

QUICK_PAY

Payment product. The WeChat Pay user opens the WeChat client and selects + in the top right corner > Money or Me > Services > Money to show the payment code. The merchant uses a code scanning device to scan the payment code and complete the deduction.

BNPL

Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) is a shopping payment method that allows consumers to receive goods or services immediately upon purchase, but with installment payments. This payment method has become increasingly popular in recent years, especially in online shopping.

MPQR_CODE_BNPL

Grabpay payment product. QR code in merchant-Presented Mode supports consumer use buy now pay later method.

MPQR_CODE_WALLET

Grabpay payment product. QR code in merchant-Presented Mode supports consumer pay by wallet balance.

CPQR_CODE_WALLET

Grabpay payment product. QR code in customer-Presented Mode supports consumer pay by wallet balance.

CPQR_CODE_BNPL

Grabpay payment product. QR code in customer-Presented Mode supports consumer use buy now pay later method.

Online banking

Online banking payment methods are the payment methods that allow a user to pay by authorizing the payment on a bank page.

Settlement

Refers to the process of calculating the net settlement amount for all transactions within a settlement batch and transferring the corresponding settlement funds on the predefined settlement date.

Settlement batch

A settlement batch is formed when the unsettled funds in a settlement period meet the settlement prerequisites.

Settlement period

The settlement period varies depending on the following dimensions:

The settlement period is T+N, where N is a variable specified in your contract. Transactions that occur on the T date are all settled to you on the date of T+N, N doesn't contain the holidays and weekends.

The settlement period is D+N, where N is a variable specified in your contract. Transactions that occur on the D date are all settled to you on the date of D+N, N contain the holidays and weekends.
